Similar to the alien abduction story except it's the bodies that got abducted and everyone is only a head. Even the animals. If the thing ever had something that resembles a body, they have been reduced to being a head basically like a statue or cardboard figure. Anything else like bread remain the same. In terms of how the heads live, they do develop a way to move but not at first. The oddest part is that this includes images and media too as the bodies of those were taken. Old TV shows now have the characters be floating heads and act like what they do, but without a body.
As for the bodies that were abducted, they are mostly used for aliens who lack bodies or need one. Basically the bodies are subjected to act as donations to different types of aliens. So who should we focus on in the story?
