You accidently knock someone's head to the ...

You get so distracted looking around at all the head themed shops and strangeness of the people that you completely miss the person right in front of you.
You walk into them, shoving them forward, knocking their head right off. Your attention is suddenly snapped to the accidental decapitation you just committed. Their head rolls across the sidewalk, getting kicked around by fellow inattentive walkers. You dive for it though, catching their head before it rolled into the street. You then turn the head to face you as their body walks up, having been also chasing its lost head.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to knock your head off!" you apologized.
"Oh no, its okay, happens all the time" they brush it off, "Where's the fun is having a detachable head if you don't go for a surprise stroll every now and then?"
You chuckle in response before getting up to hand them their head back. The body promptly grabs its head back, but doesn't place it back on yet.

"Say, I'm actually a big fan of your head" they inform you. You're a little surprised as you let out an awkward thanks.
"Not a bad head yourself" you attempt to return the compliment.
"Glad you like it, my body here went through a lot to find me. Would you want to trade?"
"Trade?" you reply, taken back.
"Yeah, you take my head, I take yours. Or rather our bodies do"
You think for a moment. In head town you don't doubt there's a way to easily get your head off.
"Ya know what, sure" you agree, deciding to switch things up a bit.
"Awesome" the head replies. You two then politely exchange heads. Yours tucked in their body's arm and theirs tucked in your body's arm.


You then part ways. But are you your head or your body? And who exactly was the trader?
