The big, fuzzy socks are just what you need to keep your feet warm on the cold basement floor even if they are calf-length and pink with red bows. If they get dirty, you can just throw them back in the last load after your socks come out clean.
The socks slide on smoothly and feel real good, better than your socks. Instantly, your feet warm up along with your legs. The socks are still warm from the dryer, so you ignore how your feet and legs keep tingling with more heat while you load the washer.
Just before you close the lid, you remember that you need to wash what you're wearing as well. So you strip off everything except Janet's socks that are making your feet and calves quite warm. Of course, with all your clothes in the washer, you can't just parade around with nothing on but socks. Besides, it's cold down here.
A glance back at the clean clothes reveals a pajama animal suit with hoodie and animal ears. You all got matching ones last Christmas from crazy Aunt Agatha. She thought them a hoot like most of her weird gifts and strange ideas. They were all the same size even for Briana. Aunt Agatha said she did that so all of you could use them together for years. As if! Although, they were very comfy in the winter and would definitely keep you warm. It would be one simple item to cover your whole body until your clothes finish.
A few other garments are also in the pile. Your mom's workout sweats and large sports bra as well as Janet's frilly black camisole and matching boy-shorts that, like any teenage boy, teases a thrill through you when you think about wearing women's clothes. There's also Briana's football jersey nightshirt that wouldn't be as perverted or as ridiculous as the PJ suit. What's further down the pile could probably work, too.
