"I won't tell Mom, if you swap friends with me." Courtney declared as she put her hands on her hips.
Josh figured there could be worse things to swap and decided not to ask anymore questions. "Deal!" He said. There was another flash, and when it was gone, he didn't notice anything different immediately for the first time that he made a swap.
"Did it work?" Courtney asked.
Before he said no, he realized that the reason he didn't notice a difference was because there was no physical swap made. "Yeah it did, trust me."
"Okay, see ya." She said, shutting the door behind her. Josh locked it in case Bri or Courtney came back wanting to swap something. He was done swapping for the night, unless he was getting something he swapped before back.
Josh hopped on to his bed, felling the braid that his youngest sister arranged for him hit his back as he landed. He opened his laptop to see that his menu screen had changed. Instead of him posing with Jenn, who was holding a stuffed bear he won for her at the carnival, the picture was replaced with one of him at a boy band concert. He was alongside with Courtney's friends Megan, Christina, Kira, and Josie. The only one of the friends he knew from the picture personally was Kira, as they were gaming buddies, but her and the other three were now his best of friends due to the swap. He didn't hesitate to make the swap for a couple of reasons. One, he was sure that Courtney would want her friends back eventually. Two, he wasn't even sure if the swap would work because it wasn't a physical swap. Option two was now obviously not going to happen, so Josh hoped Courtney would swap back soon.
