It was a warm summer evening at the Jones residence. Fireflies gleamed throughout the enormous courtyard from the back end of the mansion. In the middle of the courtyard was a large pool, bigger than the ones used for swimming competitions. And in the middle of that pool was little April Jones.
The young chubby girl relaxed in her deluxe pool chair, which held a small tray of truffles and a tall glass of pink lemonade. She snacked on them while listening to her iPod, enjoying every moment of her alone time. She patted her belly as she snacked on her truffles, then drank her pink lemonade gingerly.
But her relaxation would soon be interrupted by a green light shining in the sky. She looked up to see a green orb, which turned out to be a meteorite, headed towards her. She swam her chair away as best as she could, but between the complications of the chair and with her own weight keeping her still, she could hardly get out fast. Luckily for her, the meteorite missed her by a few feet and crashed into the shrubs far from her.
After calming down from the near catastrophe, she swam out of the pool and walked over to the spot with caution. She looked to see the meteorite was glowing green still, flashing like a beacon. And as she looked on it, she could smell something familiar about it. The scent of the meteorite was almost like a dessert; hazelnut, vanilla, chocolate, mint, and so many other wonderful aromas. She couldn't help but take an interest in touching it.
As she reached for it, she could hear strange voices in her head. The voices were speaking in foreign tongues, but she ignored them. She got closer and closer, as the voices grew louder and louder. She touched the meteorite, which hardly scorched or burned her from the touch. In fact, it felt cold...
She brought the meteorite closer to her face, which felt like the size of a baseball in her hands, noticing the smells feeling stronger and more intoxicating. The voices in her head were loud, but they weren't objecting. To her, it almost felt like they were telling her to eat it...
"It smells so good," she said to herself, "It wouldn't hurt to just give it a little taste.."
April took a little lick of the meteorite and instantly a wave of flavors hit her taste buds. She tasted flavors that she had before and others that were different but still delicious. It was phenomenal, remarkable, and so delightful!
"This is so good," she yelled to herself, "I want to eat it! I want it all for myself!"
And without hesitation, she popped it in her mouth, which felt like a big jawbreaker in her mouth. As she chewed on it, the voices in her head made sounds that sounded like a congregation, applauding her for eating the object from the sky. As she ate the meteorite, inside was a large amount of ooze that skyrocketed her taste buds more-so than before.
And she smiled as it was all for her... No one could stop her from enjoying her new treat...
Soon, the meteorite was gulped down. As soon it came, it vanished inside the belly of this silver spoon brat. She sighed with relief as it almost felt like a whole new experience eating that meteorite. Nothing could compare to that wonderful treat. She walked over to the pool and swam back into her chair. She sat back in and began to relax again. She snacked on her truffles and drank her pink lemonade.
But they could never compete with the object she ate that came from the sky...
