Chapter #6At the Basement Lab by: pedro01   Although he's never been there before, he would find it hard to understand why his parents wanted him to go to the basement which is full of secrets that he doesn't know of. He reached downstairs and only came to the edge of the door, where a basement really was. But he wouldn't want to risk this until he would ask, just in case.
"Mom, are you in here? You said you want me to be here, right?" Lewis asked, just to make sure by standing right by the door.
"Of course, honey! Just come on in, and watch your step." His mother named, Helen replied and knowing she was here by herself at the moment.
Lewis nodded and did as he hard, when he came through the door and climb down the stairs to the basement. Once reaching there, this is where he had found its secret with his parent's permission in hand. That basement is full of Labs, as many as chemicals and machines in all, and Lewis was rather surprised that it's here in his house nonetheless.
"Whoa, So this is the reason why you keep this as a secret, Mom?" Lewis was surprised and wondered just how long he had been kept this secret until this point.
"Of course, sorry that I had to keep this for so long. Your father first thought of letting you know and explain what we are, so maybe when you're grown up, you could be just like us." That was the point his mother Helen and her husband had in mind, since Lewis was getting into stages to get to know about these experiments.
"That would be cool if that's about to happen." Lewis replied with that smile as much as he now knows about his parent's secrets. "So, is there anything you want from me?" He asked.
"Well, we both realized that you needed to get bigger from these bullies they've given you, so we thought of a solution and give you one of these. It's not instant, but can only make you bigger, if you're eating food. Would you like to have some?" Helen says and understands Lewis' emotions, as he gives an item that would surely would maybe make him fatter from being skinny, but what kind was she would give it her eight year old son?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
