"Hey ya'll, if you want to catch the next Cosmic Crew bash there's only a minute to find your seats!" Hippo Don's voice boomed out over the restaurant speakers. The call to an animatronic show created an excited change in the young patrons, eager to watch the show from the main hall.
As everyone nestled into their seats the curtain partially opened, shining a light onto the big purple hippo himself. Hippo Don was a bulky figure, dressed in a yellow coat along with red and white futuristic looking shades. His arms motioned over the synth moved out on a platform in front of him, really a dummy prop to coincide with the changing music.
"Let's hear some noise, audience!" For a hippo Don could really ham it up, especially for this style of show lead in where Hippo Don basically stole the show until he was chided by the other animatronics.
"Let's hear it for the main event, my friend, the heroic astronaut himself Ger-bert Gerbiillllllllll!"
""H-H-Hey-y, hey Kids! It's time to blast off with Gerbert Gerbil!" Gerbert Gerbil emerged into the spotlight with an iconic buck toothed grin.
"And we've got Moolia the Cow and Fuchsia the Flamingo," Hippo Don continued, steamrolling into the next set, "But you should know everyone by now. Let's get to the jam!"
"Uh, Hippo Don, s-some in the audience might be here for their fist time." Gerbert scolded. "W-we should have a proper introduction for the ladies."
"This is one of my favorite jams, recorded and remixed and performed by yours truly!" Hippo Don continued unimpeded.
"Hippo Don!" Gerbert chided, while Moolia and Fuchsia were made to look cross.
"Let's see if anyone out there can guess the song!" Hippo Don left room for the din from the yelling kids, while Gerbert's eyes swiveled around perplexed. Regardless of the songs suggested by the crowd Hippo Don continued with his renegade set.
"Don't you know it! It's time for some fresh grade jams in here! Get your hands together for my song..."
