"May I dance with you?" Your new sister asks you.
"I don't dance." You say defiantly.
"Fine. I guess this will have to do." She says and sits on your lap. Her weight is a little much for you, but oddly comforting at the same time. Her big butt has completely made your legs invisible and the photographer takes a picture from the side as you and your step sister smile for the shot.
"Maybe you should get off my lap." You say with more anger than you were intending.
"Fine. Get angry. Just remember what I said earlier." She says and walks away more calmly than you thought she would.
"Whatever. I hate this new life." You say under your breath as you head outside to clear your head. You find a nice bench to sit on and you break down completely.
"Hey. It's okay." You hear your step sisters voice say.
"No it's not! I hate this new life!" You yell at her.
"Hey. This is a change for me too. I've accepted it. It's time that you do too." She says.
"I'll never accept it." You say as you get your car keys from your pocket and go home knowing you'll get it when your sister gets home since you were her ride.
As you pull onto the highway you feel a sence if relief if escaping unnoticed by the guests. The only one that knows is your step sister and she will lie for you just so she can talk to you later.
"I hate my new life! I hate my new mom! And I really hate my step sister!" You yell once in the house.
You lay on your bed and cry for hours until you hear your step sister get home. You lock your door so she thinks your sleeping as you have always locked it just in case, but this doesn't stop her from unlocking the door with the master key that everyone has.
"Listen up bro. I told mom and dad that you felt unwell so you left. I stuck my neck on the line for you. You can repay me by letting me..."
