The conversation she'd just had with her brother echoing in her head, Evie had to wonder herself whether the beat-up device in her hands could actually switch people's heads around. If it could, and the people remained unaware, then the possibilities for fun were indeed endless. Not to mention the possibility of payback against quite a few people who had pissed her off throughout her fifteen years of life so far. Without Jacob begging her, she had the time to maybe see if it worked.
Hearing the back door slam a couple of minutes later, Evie walked over to her window, which overlooked the back yard and saw her miffed twin sibling just exiting the gate and heading down the alley towards the street. "Oh Jacob, if you're so obsessed with the device, why don't I just try it on you then." Evie said jokingly, as she aimed the device at her brother's back as he walked away from the yard. He finger put just enough pressure on the red button atop the device.. and Zaap!!
There had been two 13 year old girls who lived nearby walking in the opposite direction in the alleyway near her brother. Evie's jaw dropped when she saw that Jacob's head had been swapped onto the body of the skinnier of the two girls, a Latina named Mariana. Evie saw her brother frown at suddenly finding himself walking besides the other girl, who was named Angela. And of course Mariana was confused too, but didn't think anything was wrong with her ponytailed head being affixed to a 15-year old boy's body.
"Looking girly bro." Evie chuckled to herself, a broad grin on her face as she watched the spectacle. She was going to swap the two back straight away, but then the thought of leaving her brother's head on the body of a skinny 13-year old Latina girl was just too inviting. And so Evie watched as Jacob spun around and walked off with Mariana's body and also her pink t-shirt, red shorts and sandals. She also watched Angela and Mariana continue on their way, the latter now much taller and stronger than her friend now that she had Jacob's body under her head.
"Oh yeah, I'm going to have so much fun with this thing." Evie smirked, kissing the device.
