It didn't even look like someone touched the bush. You did, however, smell the scent further away.
You looked at the distance, and saw a makeshift village further away. It looked to be surrounded by walls made of bark, and you imagined the houses within would be made of the same material. The path of the scent seemed to lead directly towards it. You had no idea why they would've gone that way when the berries were right here, but your sniffer didn't lie. They went that way, and, for all you knew, they could be in trouble.
The path forward looked open and safe, so you doubted you'd have to worry about anyone attacking you. Even if someone did, you'd be able to see where they'd come from.
