"Hang on!" he shouted out. He revealed a bunch of fur in his hand. "I tried to show this to other people so they'd know what my parents might look like."
"Wouldn't they just have your fur color?" you asked. There was a palpable pause.
"Now that you mention it..." the Patrat remarked. You shook your head and decided to disregard the question. You bent down and sniffed the fur he held, and you began to pick up a scent.
