A Miniature Model

(Spoilers for the endgame and Valentine’s Day.)

Ann couldn’t be happier. She had her boyfriend Akira back right in time for Valentine’s day. All the stress she had about getting her chocolate through juvenile hall security was gone now that she could actually do it in person.

The two had the cafe to themselves, and Ann took advantage of every minute of it. Everything felt perfect as they dined on the strangely palatable combination of coffee and curry. A part of her thought the way the stars aligned was too good to be true.

Even if she had to settle with a long-distance relationship in the future, she had Akira now.

Ann woke up covered in a layer of sweat. Everything was hazy except for the sharp breeze from the window. She sat up, taking in a large breath of air. She caught a whiff of musk, the aftermath of her romantic night with her boyfriend. A pervy smile crept on her face as she thought of initiating another round.

Once her eyes adjusted, Ann realized something was wrong.

The first and obvious tip off was the fact that her boyfriend was now the size of a mountain range. Her eyes were wide as she took in the form of her now giant boyfriend. She had to take a few steps back to fully process the image.

“I have to be dreaming,” she muttered to herself. If she were honest, this wouldn’t be the first time she dreamt something like this. However, the subject of her dream was a massive chocolate cake. Having it be her boyfriend was a welcome surprise.

The silver moonlight shined off Akira’s toned chest. Ann couldn’t help but stare for a moment before deciding to walk around.

She walked around the crumpled bedsheets, taking in every single detailed. Last she remembered, none of her dreams ever felt this lifelike. Distracted by her thoughts, Ann failed to notice the wrinkles beneath her feet. She tripped and landed roughly on her face.

“Ow…” Ann groaned. “That hurt.”

That hurt… Ann stood back up, a strange feeling wash over her. “Is this really a dream?”
