(Taking place after the main story, and Golden's ending)
Yu picked himself up, body feeling heavy, feeling a sickening chill in the air around him. Going to stand he's keeping his balance as he rises, but a constant motion rests in his body nearly knocking him over. From his last memory he was making another visit back to Inaba, laying in his room at the Dojima residence for the night. Wouldn't be the first time he's had this lucid dream feeling, but after all he did in the tv world he learned it wasn't a dream he went through before.
Yu starts checking his surroundings, a darkness around, but the feel in the air, a thick misty feel almost like the fog. He takes a step forward hoping it isn't true, but the feeling is too similar not to be. Somehow the fog had returned, or somehow he was pulled back into the tv world. Neither situation is a good outcome. With a couple more steps he feels something touching his leg, looking down he's still in his relax wear for bed. The thing touching him resting in his pocket, pulling it out to reveal his own pair of glasses he'd use back then.
He places on the lens and confirmed his worries. To him the fog cleared away, the same as the tv world, he'd returned. Looking out in the distance however, just dark skies, so dark he can't really make out if it's even a sky or just a large cave. Instead he checks his surroundings nearby, tapping his feet around, hopefully nothing sharp considering he's only in his socks. The floor is cold, smooth solid, most likely some wooden floor.
While sliding his foot he pushes it into something more firm. He looks down, almost looks like a ball of cloth, but it's more likely someone wrapped up. With a slight snoring that sounds familiar... he gives it a bit of a kick and hears a "Oof!" Than disgruntled voice he knew immediately to be Yosuke. The lump rises up and the blanket slides down off of his body as he stands up holding his side looking at Yu "What the hell man? Breaking into my room and beating me in my sleep?" He holds his arms together shaking "Jeez did you pull me outside too?" Yosuke starts spinning around "Oh crap, is this what I think it is?" Yu looks down as Yosuke comes to the realization himself and sees the orange pair of glasses Yosuke would wear in his blanket. He picks up the pair and hands them to his friend that immediately places them on. "Yep, back here again, shit what does this mean?"
Yu shrugs saying "Nothing much to go on other than we were both brought here in our sleep." He takes another glance around the spot. "I haven't done anything except stand, so that's it." Yosuke looks around too, the two only see the flooring they're on stretching out. Even with the extra visibility from the glasses, their view feels ranged before being nearly clouds. "Well partner ready to look."
Yosuke sighs "Really wish I could've done a bit more sleeping in." He shakes his head to get some energy "Hell yea, investigation team out on another mission!" He comes to a thought "Oh hey wait a minute. What are the odds just the two of us were brought here?" He looks at Yu who returns his concerned look.
"Then we better move quick!" Yu and Yosuke take off into the unknown. Not having a way back, and not knowing if the other members are around, they have to search. Walking in a straight path the fog in the distance seems to clear. Clears up only to reveal a wall much farther down their road. As the two go closer, they see the wall lead way way higher. After all the locations they explored before, it's higher than them all. Or at least feels that way.
They follow down the blank wall for a while hoping somewhere down the line might be something or someone. They follow the wall and it leads around a corner, they both follow around and stand together stunned. A larger version of what looked like the Dojima living room was before them, the cushions on the floor, the table, the sofa. Connecting to the kitchen all of it there as much as they could see. Their size compared to the room they could only see so much in the distance from their vantage points.
"Dude you seein what I'm seein' here?" Yu looks around the area with Yosuke, both feeling like insects in the home. Yosuke pipes up again "Crap, I don't think I wanna see the shadow of whoever lives here." With that jinxed statement the two feel large quakes that pick up in speed, volume and intensity as they go on. Coming from behind the two stick close to the wall as they see a large dark shoe step in front of them and continue forward. At that size it was hard to distinguish if it was just a step or if the large structure was trying to make a loud appearance.
The two watched the large figure round the corner dropping onto that sofa kicking its feet up onto the table. Yu speaks up saying "The full house doesn't seem to match the Dojima house, but it looks like this room is to scale for them." Yu looks at those shoes on the table, the dark shoes leading to legs with those knee socks following up to a jacket and face he recognizes. "Yosuke, the giant."
Yosuke couldn't keep his eyes off "Yeah, you don't even need to say. We're dealing with a fricken huge Chie. Ugh, why couldn't it just be a big house?" Yosuke asks Yu "So, what's the plan partner? Do we get her to notice us?" Yu keeps staring at her trying to figure something out.
"You notice anything off about her?" Yosuke not wanting to say the obvious just waits "Her outfit, and her hair, she's wearing her Yasogami uniform." Yosuke looks up at her seeing what he means. "Why would she-" he's stopped as he sees the giant bend down and scratch her leg, her eyes popping open sending a shiver down both boys' backs. The opened eyes were glowing, a bright golden glow. The giant was a shadow.
"Shiiit, okay we're not making contact, no friggin way. Chie's shadow was like a nutso sadist, can you imagine what it'd do to us like this?" Yu tries his best to keep calm.
"Well if we don't want to be noticed, we have to keep quiet too." Yosuke leans his back to the wall knocking his head back as well. Yu focuses back there and is able to make out the outline of another large figure in the kitchen area.
Both of the boys cling to the wall as they hear a loud, "So does my prince want a snack?" Loud clicking sounds of heels walking along the floor. Yukiko's shadow in her bright pink dress enters the room bringing the Chie shadow a drink, and sitting in her lap as they stare each other down.
Yu feels Yosuke over his shoulder watching again. "Whoa, what're these shadows up to?" Yu notices something else in the room and it grabs his attention "Hey partner, you think all the shadows are like this?" Yosuke asks wondering and hoping that his own shadow doesn't make the same entrance.
"Yosuke look, under the table!" Yu says loudly to his distracted partner.
"Yea I'm down for a better view, but I don't think that's the safest-" he freezes up noticing what Yu saw. Very faint, very small, under the table by Chie's feet and at the end of Yukiko's dress spilling off the side of the sofa. A very colorful round image. "Teddie? Oh that's not good."
"It looks like they haven't seen him at least." Yu tries to calm his and Yosuke's worries.
"Yea but what do you think that dumb pervy bears gonna do so low under two girls in skirts?" Yu and Yosuke exchange worried looks.
"We gotta make a plan fast." Yu declares, the two decide upon
