Tae sat behind the counter of her clinic. It was yet another slow day. She was wearing new clothes because her old ones had ripped due to her muscles growing. Tae hadn't taken any more of the medicine that caused her muscles to grow because she wanted to know if the new medicine would have the same effect on Joker. If it didn't....
Tae had sent another text to Joker saying that the next trail was ready. That had been hours ago. Perhaps the kid was looking after that Futuba girl and was too busy to come. There was nothing wrong with Futuba save for being small for her age. Futuba had been fatigued...by what was anybody's guess.
It was around noon when the door of the clinic opened and Joker came in. He was wearing his usual clothes. Joker walked right up to the counter looking at his phone and probably sending a text. When Joker looked up at Tae he couldn't help but notice that Tae was wearing new clothes.
"What happened to you, Doc?" asked Joker as his eyes traveled to her bigger muscles. At the sound of the question, a black cat peeked out from the bag the kid always had with him. The cat looked at Tae and meowed.
"There's....been an unexpected turn in the medicine" said Tae. "You see, when you didn't come to see me about the trail yesterday I decided to test the medicine on myself and....this happened"
The cat meowed again and Joker glanced at the cat.
"That was wreckless" said Joker.
"I guess so" said Tae. "But I was impatient"
The cat made a series of meows. It was as if the cat was actually talking to Joker. Tae stared at the cat for a moment and then turned her attention to Joker.
"So, are you ready to find out if the medicine has the same effect on you?" asked Tae.
"Yeah" said Joker.
"Go to the examination room" said Tae, smiling.

After taking the medicine, nothing happened to Joker. The two waited for something to happen but it never did.
"Okay, this is strange" said Tae. "I have to figure out why this medicine has no effect on you whatsoever"
The cat, who had stayed behind to apparently watch the test, made a series of meows again. Joker looked at the cat with a skeptical expression on his face. The cat meowed again.
"If I didn't know better, I'd say you understand what that cat is actually saying" said Tae.
"Hmm....why don't you take the medicine again to see if it has the same effect on you again?" asked Joker. "Perhaps it's a one-time only thing"
"I'm a bit hesitant to take the medicine again" said Tae. She looked at the bottle which was sitting on the table. She sighed deeply and took another sip of the medicine. This time the reaction was immediate. Tae's muscles swelled to three times their already impressive size. Her new clothes were ripped apart as her muscles grew. Joker gasped. The cat made a yowl of surprise.
Tae looked like the Incredible Hulk's sister...or more like She-Hulk. Her muscles had a sculpted look to them.
"Oh wow" said Tae in awe. "I feel....wonderful.... I want to test out my strength"
Tae reached out and grabbed Joker and lifted him up effortlessly.
The cat meowed again. Joker looked at the cat and nodded.
"I know someplace where you can test out your strength" said Joker.
"Oh?" asked Tae. "And where that might be?"
"To answer that.....there's...erm, something I gotta tell ya" said Joker.
Tae thought it over. "Let me guess....you're one of the Phantom Thieves"
Joker's eyes went wide. "Yes....how did you know?"
"I'm not stupid, kid" said Tae setting down Joker back on the floor. "I visited Oyamda in jail. Nothing can change a heart like his so quickly. So I'm guessing we're taking a trip to....wherever you go to change people's hearts?"
"Something like that..." said Joker taking out his phone.
