As I walked away from the beach, I found the sand gradually gave way to grass, which quickly grew to such heights that it was difficult to see. Night soon fell, and I was completely and utterly lost. There were no trails that I could find, no landmarks to help me. I was alone, and the night was cloudy.
Eventually, though, I smelled smoke, and followed the scent to a campsite. I came to the back of an enormous tent, so I couldn't tell if they were alone or in a group. As I crept beneath the tent "walls", I found a mat with a giant figure sleeping on it, and a large bag that was. Part of me wanted to walk to the person, so I could wake them up and get them to help me, but another part of me wanted to find out what was in that bag. So I walked over to the bag, and found that it was filled with silk, of a color I couldn't determine in the darkness. I kept going through the layers of silk, until I came to the softest piece I could find. I then curled up on top of it and went to sleep.
When I woke up, I heard the sound of movement as the giant occupant of the tent began to pack up their belongings. Another bag landed next to me, and I smelled food. My stomach growled, and I desperately wished for a bit of food. Suddenly, the bag was opened, and a crust of bread fell in. Without leaving my hiding spot, I reached up and grabbed the bit of food, then started happily munching away.
