The sound of hoofbeats suddenly sounded down the pass. They grew louder and louder and louder... before finally stopping. I turned around in time to see a giant redheaded girl dismount from her horse, holding a sack. She dropped the sack on the ground nearby and stomped over to about where I was. Then she turned around and sat down. As I was on the far end of a stick on the receiving end of her rear end, I was catapulted into a nearby tree. The girl heard the rustling of leaves, and in a flash had stood up and whirled around.
"Who's there?" she called out in a Scottish accent.
Only the sounds of nature greeted her, so she slowly and cautiously went back to her bag and sat down next to it. As I crept over her in my tree, I started to hear the sounds of snoring. I crept out further, hoping to find what was in the bag, when the branch holding me up snapped and I was sent tumbling down into...
