Scott Lang is a 25 year old engineer. The son of Chinese immigrants, Lang witnessed a space shuttle takeoff as a child and was fascinated by space travel. Since then he has worked tirelessly to learn all there is about space travel. About six months ago, he was given a position as an engineer aboard a deep-space exploration vessel. When the ship's engine was damaged in a meteor shower, it was his technical skill that saved both ship and crew. Now, he's been entrusted with another crucial mission, this time as chief engineer.
Krista Garraway is a 32 year old Harvard alumni with several degrees in mechanical engineering. She designed the prototype terraforming facility that the Nostromo carries. Born and raised in southern England, the redheaded engineer is very protective of machines, constantly criticising careless crewmates. As a certified genius, she has several jobs on the ship, but mostly prides herself on the work she does to keep the ship flying.
Alexi Zhernov is a burly, bearded Russian in his forties. Tall and muscular, Zhernov looks more like a Russian mobster than an engineer, but he has a delicate touch with machines. Working in his father's repair shop as a child, Zhernov discovered an innate knack for tinkering. The 6'03 engineer speaks somewhat broken English, spending more time learning coding languages than human ones, but he can make himself understood in most scenarios.
