CHAPTER II - Choose Your Bets Wisely

Dylan enters the class and places his backpack next to his chair. He sits and greets Lesley. She smiles and waves, she's more interested in her phone. He looks over to see Natalie, who has one eye covered with her curly ginger hair. She had her glasses tipped down to the end of her nose as she reads a book.
A lecture starts, and his teacher speaks of wise money choices. Think about your purchases. What joys can they bring you? What consequences might they obtain? After the lecture, Dylan and his class are ordered to place up stands around them so cheating on the test will be prevented. He does so, just trying to get through the class, maybe he'll secretly get a little more sleep behind the barriers.

He's now in the middle of a test, nobody is able to see him. He briefly falls into a rest, but the shoot his head back up. He drops his pencil and reaches to grab it.

"Damn," he says. It rolled to the middle of the floor.

Now on the floor, he reaches to grab the pencil, and at this moment, he begins to feel that same exact feeling as he did before he ran into his ex, only worse. The tightening in his chest and skin is unbearable! He tries and let out a scream, however his vocal cords feel as if they have shriveled up.

Before he knows it, the unbelievable happens. He shrinks to the size of one and a half inches! The size equivalent to a Lego figure.

He looks around in complete awe. He knows that this is not a safe place to be in. He looks around the table (this is one of the stretched-out tables that can seat about eight students at once), and sees two of the people he knows best. Lesley, whose wearing those Birkenstock sandals, is probably his best bet, for he knows her the best. However, he knows her enough to know that she DESPISES bugs. Natalie is his second best option. She's wearing black Converse shoes, one of the laces untied. He doesn't know her as well, and only has had a few conversations with her. Who knows how she'll react? Everybody else are practically strangers to him.
