Jake hadn't realized it but the curse would make him swap traits with anyone who complained about one of their own. He and the guys started up their barbecue. They had all their food ready to go. All there was left to do was cook.
They were enjoying the nice weather on the beach. Some of them even went swimming. Jake thought he'd go swimming for a bit before eating. He joined Marc in the water for a bit. Marc was the oldest of his friends. Being a third year and all. Marc was a pretty tall guy. He was around 6'4". He was also really skinny. He was a pretty smart guy too. Top of his class for the past 2 years.
Jake was shorter than Marc, coming in at around 5'10". Jake was also quite muscular. He didn't have great grades but he did okay.
They were in the water tossing a nerf football back and forth. Marc had always been a little jealous of Jake's muscle. They threw the ball a few more times before coming out of the water and heading up shore to cook. It seems that with this curse, people want to complain to Jake about what traits they don't like.
"Man Jake," Marc said as they walked up the beach. "I really hate being this skinny... I've been working out for so long and I don't have much to show for it hey? Any advice for me?"
"Well maybe you just need to have a little more protein in your diet," Jake answered. "Try to take breaks when you need to too. I noticed you've been working out every day. You won't gain if you aren't resting enough too."
As they were chatting, Marc beefed up a little, his arms swelling in size. His legs pumped up too. There rest of his body becoming slightly more defined. His clothes were a little snug on him now, but nothing he couldn't deal with.
Jake's muscles shrunk in size, thinning down a little. His arms slimmed down a little, then his legs. The rest of his body softened slightly. His soaked trunks clung to his body, so he couldn't feel them get looser on him.
Once they made it back, they started cooking. No one had noticed anything different about either of them yet.
