David was 8 years old and his relationship with his family was precarious. Both of his parents treated him like a baby, despite the fact that he always told them that he was already a big boy. However, his thirty-two-year-old mother, Karen, was very strict with him, always scolding and cooing at him. His father, 34 years old Tom, was hardly ever home.
