Jessica knew her son wasn't a bad boy, but Justin just didn't take the responsibility he was given seriously, and then complained about being treated like a little kid. Take right now for instance.

"But mom! I was gonna play with my friends!" Her ten year old son whined.

"Then you should've done your chores, now you're stuck here for the night." Jessica sighed, "You want to be treated like a grownup but then you act like this..."

Storming off, Jessica heard Justin yell "I wish I was in charge!"

"Maybe if you thought about what it's like to be in charge, rather than simply want to boss me around, something would change."
