Thunk.
What the? You blearily open your eyes, convinced you just heard something. It was probably just the neighbour's dog again, nothing to worry abou-
THUNK.
You stop mid thought, your mind reaffirming that it did, in fact, hear a very loud thumping noise from downstairs. Swearing, you grab your baseball bat from under your bed - you were always a bit paranoid about this kind of thing, which seems to have paid off - and stealthily move downstairs to confront your would-be, unskillful burglar.
Positioning the bat so that you can easily swing it with one hand, you creepy into the living room, which was completely black, and move for the switch by virtue of spatial memory. You prepare to charge and swing at the burglar, and flick on the lights.
In front of you stood a green dragon, looking very uncomfortable. It's legs were positioned on the side of its body, both of them thick, and vaguely semicircular in appearance, with three long, yellow claws emerging from the lowest, foremost part of them.
It also had two comparatively short arms, both positioned close to its legs, with two claws on the end. You look upwards, at its head. It was long as sloped, and the same light green as the rest of its body. It had two yellow eyes, its pupils being a solid red, small, thin trails of smoke emerging from its nostrils, which were on the end of its muzzle. It had two short ears, directly above which were two long, yellow horns, which were pressing into the ceiling, as it was so large. There was also a large red spike on the top of its head, surrounded by a dark green patch of scales. There were more along its back, going to the end of its long tail. Two short, stubby wings with yellow membranes emerged from its back, most likely for show.
It had a vivid yellow underbelly, running all the way from underneath its head to the end of its tail, with uniform orange stripes breaking up the solid colour.
You honestly weren't sure what to do, or even what to think. The dragon was studying you closely, seemingly eager to find a way to stop its horns from damaging the ceiling and walk over to you before wrapping you into a hug with those big green arms. You noted that the shape of the dragon was akin to an 'S', with its arms being at the middle bend, and its legs shortly underneath.
That underbelly looked...soft. A thought enters your mind, of the dragon laying asleep on the floor, you wrapped up in a hug, pressed into its yellow belly. That would be fun...
