Alright then. Here goes the story.
You’re on a ship transporting an elephant. Why, you don’t know. You just got assigned to holding onto a rope that is holding the elephant down. Suddenly, everyone yells and points into the distance. You think this is unimportant and sit next to the elephant. You being a smart chicken nugget, decided to wrap the rope around your hand several time. There’s no getting that off anytime soon. Everyone is still yelling and wonder why. It’s almost night, what could be seen? Surely not land. Then a shadow passes over. The captain calls all but you to arms. Before anyone can do anything, however, the elephant is suddenly snatched into the air. The rope yanking you into the air as well. You can’t tell what grabbed it, but you decide to find out later. The elephant is trumpeting in pain and your ears going along for the ride. Soon, you come to a nest made of barren, uprooted trees. That’s when you realize what got you. The roc from that book you got at the store. You didn’t believe the story, but now you wish you’d paid more attention. All you remember is that the roc is female. The elephant is dropped into the nest and you can barely make out multiple others, maybe five in total. There are other animals in the heat as well. Goats, pigs, cattle, all clustered in the large nest. What catches your eye, however, are the net fulls of people. It seems the roc is a clever girl, catching humans in hunting traps and fishing nets. You land on the elephant’s back. You notice that none of the animals have claw marks on them, they are all intact. The giant bird lands in the nest, without crushing anything. When she’s lands, she obliviously slices the rope that is tied to your hand. However, it was cut closer to the elephant, you now you have a rope snake on your arm. You jump down and land on the bird’s right foot. She doesn’t notice however, and continues to look at her collection of animals. You make it to under her stomach when she she sits down, amazingly not crushing anything. Now you’re leaning against her stomach and you’re struggling to get back up. The bird starts swallowing the animals whole. As they travel, you can see the bulges they make Andy hear and feel them in her stomach. She’s gone through at least 3/4 of the previous total and now looks satisfied. The only things left are two elephants and the bags of people. The mixture of animals in her stomach are making a horrific ruckus and it’s making you scared. Suddenly, some of them pound and it hits you in the face, startling you. The roc lowers her head to her belly and strokes it with her beak. You dive out of the way and are miraculously not spotted. However, you land on a sharp branch and you cry out. When you look over, the roc is clearly looking at you.
