1. Eager to protect her adopted sister, Alex arranges to have Maxwell Lord shrunk to the size of a bug in his office, storming in to tower over him. Threatening to crush him under her boot like any other bug unless he backed off from Supergirl.
2. When it's revealed that Maxwell Lord has uncovered Supergirl's true identity as Kara Danvers, she uses a lesser known Kryptonian ability to shrink him accidentally, deciding that for the greater good she should continue to keep a watchful eye over him.
3. Maxwell Lord wakes up to the sight of a massive Alex Danvers and Supergirl, after his failed experiment to create a new form of Kryptonite leaves him shrunken at the size of an ant, forced into their custody with no way to return him to normal size.
4. After agreeing to an interview with the infamous Kat Grant, Maxwell suddenly shrinks, landing on a chair meant to be occupied by the most powerful woman in National City...and spoilers, it's not Supergirl.
