Ever since she was a little girl, Rarity always wanted to be in the spotlight. She didn't know how to explain it back then, but all she knew was that every time she took a step, everyone should turn to look at her, regardless of who they were. And they would always have to look up to her, both metaphorically and literally.
In short, Rarity always wanted to be gigantic. A thought she had never paid too much attention to as she grew older. She remembered it here and there but she always giggled as it being, the cute thought of childhood. Instead she rather have her skills and abilities as a fashionista speak more for her than her size.
However with the coming of the years and that of her friends going on their many adventures, and the discovery of magic flowing to the human world, Rarity found herself in an odd predicament as she continuously thought more and more of herself being enormous, looking down on everyone as they up to her. It was mesmerizing to say the least, and a bit exciting as well. It wasn't until a quite faint day that she realized she had the ability to do such things as she walked down the street one day. Her hips shaking from side to side, her legs moving one in front of the other and her hair waving in the air, and then all of a sudden-CRUNCH-did she look down and soon she had trampled a vehicle under her heels.
It was a bit embarrassing at first to say the least, but she quickly did realize that her magic had desired effects that she wanted from the go-thus she could change size at will. Of course this also meant that her friends had the same type of magic she acquired, leading to many events of them rampaging around-but that was a story for another time.
Today Rarity felt the need to be grow, the need to be big as she had nothing to do today and she preferred that over the sheer boredom.
"Alright," She said as she summoned her magic and began to cast outside of her home, "Time to show off!"
