“You should practice your baby talk!”

“Every time you want something from now on, you have to ask for it like a baby,” Brooklyn said, eyebrow raised mockingly, as he grabbed David’s chin condescendingly “and you’ll refer to me as daddy from now on.”

Brooklyn walked over to the plastic bag he had sitting in the corner of the room, and turned to meet his father’s eyes. “I don’t hear practising,” Brooklyn said with narrowed eyes.

“Sor-Sowwy..daddy,” David said, blushing intensely. Brooklyn smiled and pretended to root around in the bag, listening to David practise his infantile speech in the process. Eventually, Brooklyn was done listening, and turned around, a girly, pink diaper in his hand.

“Oh? Didn’t I mention? You’re gonna be a baby girl,” Brooklyn said, a grin on his face “now lie down for daddy, princess.”
