Midna destroyed the Chuchu and entered the temple. She shrunk herself just enough so she would have room to fight, but kept herself large enough to tower over Link. She hummed to herself until the hero of Hyrule arrived. She smiled, Link was small enough that he didn't need to be weakened. When the small boy entered the room, he jumped back a little at her presence. Link was really confused as to why there was a woman here, and what she was wearing didn't help either.
"Welcome, miniature hero. My name is Midna, and I know that you're looking for the Earth Element. I even know that you want to restore Princess Zelda. However, I won't allow you to have an easy journey. If you want the element, you'll have to get past me. You will never defeat me though." The twilight princess said, lifting her foot up. She brought it down, creating a tremor that made Link fall to the ground. Link was determined though, he had to defeat her to save Zelda. The boy stood up, ready to fight and filled with courage. Midna giggled at his determination. "Very well, have it your way." Midna said.
