Unfortunately, Link wasn't quite stealthy enough. While he was sneaking around, one of the moblins noticed him moving. Suddenly realizing there was an intruder, it unleashed an animalistic howl, shoulder-tackling the barrel and shattering it. And, like that, Link was exposed. If it weren't for Midna, the creature would just carry Link off to a cell, where the hero would, hopefully, find a way to escape. However, something about this encounter felt far more dangerous than that. It's like Link could physically feel hunger radiate from the pig-like monster. And that feeling was only confirmed when it licked its lips.
Link immediately turned around, just in time to avoid its initial reach out. Link felt its hand brush along the fabric of his hat. For a moment, he thought he was lifted up, but he continued running. He needed to get out of here, far from this beast's field of vision. He just really hoped there wasn't another moblin nearby...
