As the godlikeprincess watched the hero progress, the ‘epic’ battle with the ChuChu intrigued her. This was acreature that was typically beneath everyone’s notice. One of the least threatening obstacles the wold could throw at a hero. And here one was filling in the climactic battle of this particular chapter of his adventure. Seemingly providing the challenge needed.... just because the hero is so small now. This gave Midna an idea.
The battle was a victory for Link. The area was cleared, he was one huge step closer to saving the princess and stopping vaati. Though he doubted anyone would believe he had such a hard time with a simple ChuChu. Maybe he’ll change a few details when sharing the story, but for now it was time to continue moving. He saw a stump nearby which he could use to grow back and made haste to it, not wanting to stay like this when night fell. This was when Midna made her move. As the hero drew closer to his goal, a strong wind suddenly kicked up. It almost felt like a hurricane to the diminutive hero. He tried to push on, but this windstorm quickly overtook him and threw him high into the air. During this, his hat flew off. Link tried desperately to grab back onto it, but he could only watch as his headware, new friend, and only means of restoring his size was blown out of sight. Midna smirked as her plan finally kicked off. A truly epic tale worthy of a hero, where absolutely every encounter could inspire an epic ballad. Even with the lowliest creature. Pleased with her work and certain Ezlo would not be returned unless she absolutely wanted him too, she retreated into the shadows to watch the new story unfold.
As link tried to regain his bearings after crashing back into the ground, he throight he heard something moving nearby. His eyes darted around, but it wasn’t until it was too late that he saw some figure looming over him.
