Midna knew that these people didn't know a thing about Link before. Surely they'd see him as some kind of invader if he's too close to the castle. Maybe... Either way, she wanted to see this lady in action, especially against someone as puny as Link. Well, it was time to see this guard do her job.
Impa, meanwhile, stood kind of bored. She loved serving Zelda to her heart's content, but recently she'd spend a lot of time doing nothing. It's not like there were a lot of attackers after all. However, it seemed like something might be happening. She heard strange footsteps to her side. She followed, and heard more. More and more and more, leading her further and further towards Midna's goal... And going through the garden was the young Link himself. Soon, Impa saw the adventurer, and realized he was trespassing. Yet, he seemed awfully young to realize he was doing something wrong.
