This choice: A powerful looking Brunette, holding a syringe • Go Back... The doctor walks in, and you try to make eye contact with her, but looking straight ahead your gaze only goes up to the nametag on the breast level of her jacket reading "Charlene". You're admittedly not too short of a guy, but looking at her it's hard to believe that there's anybody on her level. She was an impressively tall amazon of a woman, maybe scraping just under 6 foot 5. She removes her jacket almost to make you feel even more insecure as she shows off her incredibly well toned arms and shoulders. She ties her long brunette hair back into a ponytail and the way she stands and collects herself, she looks like the definition of a fitness model. She introduces herself as Charlene, and says she's a medical student at the university. She looks at a chart with your name on it and says "Everything seems to be in order. Tell me, do you have a problem with needles?" Before you can answer, she swings her arm swiftly into your arm and sticks a needle in. You yelp in surprise and pain and she just shrugs. "Sorry. It's just easier if it's a surprise."
She presses down on the plunger and when the contents are empty, she removes the needle, packing it back away. She crosses her legs and says "Now i'll bet you're wondering just what i put in you, huh?" She looks very intimidating as she crosses her arms and explains "A few years ago, a group of our researchers wandered into an abandoned temple near the bank of the Amazon river, after picking up some strange readings. When the team came out, it was obvious that their bodies had undergone a bit of change The plants in the area were coated in a particular strain of bacteria. One that we've managed to store and replicate and... place inside your body." She flexed her impressive muscles, indicating that she had been on the team she was talking about! "The women all experienced a bit of growth. Some extra height. Enhanced senses, and a much more... shall we say... enlarged muscle mass." You started to put the pieces together in your head and asked what happened to the men. She shifts her eyes to one side and says "Oh they gained an increase in stamina, were all in all in better health, it's just... welll... rather than gaining height, theirs seemed to be taken away." You ask how small the people eventually got and she bites her lip and says "Well.... when all was said and done, all the males on the expedition team clocked in at around... a half an inch." You begin to get incredibly uncomfortable and don't want to ask what happened to them, but Charlene, either not reading the room correctly or just blurting it out randomly said "And they're all gone. We either lost them in the jungle or... accidentally smooshed them on the way back. We weren't prepared for that sort of thing."
You start to panic, wondering what you did to get yourself into this situation. You don't want to become a bug! Charlene holds her hands up and says "Calm down, Calm down. It's all under control. That's why we're doing it in the lab here. So that we can monitor how long it will take for you to shrink, and how to potentially reverse it." You look at the floor and dejectedly ask how long everything will take and she says "Well, it depends on the strength of the strain that was used. The replicated formula we came up with is just as effective, and the higher concentration of the germ, the quicker your body will dwindle down." You ask very logically then, exactly how much of the strain she gave you. She looked at her notes and replied that you've been administered.... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
