Detention

Lauren walks into detention head down in shame as she sees Dani there too. Most people would give a glare, or be mad at the person that gave them detention but Lauren shoots her a reassuring smile seeing the slight puffiness of her eyes.

Dani feels a little better seeing Lauren's face but a pit of guilt still lies in her stomach.

Dani mouths "I'm sorry." To Lauren as she walks by with her required homework in hand.

This time Lauren ignores her not because she feels like being rude but because she is lost in her own world.
