Debbie remembered that there was a book club meeting to be held that day. She had been a part of it for a few years now, though she had to admit it had grown quite boring. It was just a bunch of middle aged ladies around the neighborhood chatting and gossiping among themselves. Half of them never even read the books. Clutching the size ray a bit tighter, Debbie thought this would be a fun chance to test it out.
When the next day came, she got dressed in a casual dress and heels before driving off. That day it was being held in her neighbor Jennifer Richie's house. Debbie didn't quite like the younger woman, mostly because of the looks her husband gave her. But she acted polite and gave her a polite greeting as she entered. There was already a small crowd inside, with almost all the members present.
