You realized Nicole was still half asleep as she didn't really notice you, she was just checking which clothes it would be ok to put on now that thanks to the bathroom accident what she was wearing was now wet. Deciding it would be better to roll around with it you kept quiet, thinking you could either hide or get away from her room once she was done changing her clothes and sleeping again
Unfortunately, Nicole decided the piece of cloth you were hanging onto was ok to wear and instead of going back to the pile you noticed you were being lowered down towards her foot. Panic filled your mind as you saw the incomprehensible large object approaching and you felt a cold wave coming from her damp foot. You quickly prepared to jump down, but that plan was immediately abandoned the moment you looked down. Melody might have been holding her piece of cloth and you just a foot above the floor but at your size it looked like a suicidal jump, and since you knew the carpet felt like tall grass and wouldn't do a lot to soften your fall you feared trying to jump would just end up in your death
You kept holding on to the piece of cloth until your sister's actions made it clear you were still in danger. Her foot started to enter into the piece of cloth so you realized this was a sock, and you realized from the way she holded it you were in the sole part! Knowing she would easily stomp and kill you if you didn't move you quickly used the sock threads to move to the left with all your energy, hoping you could make on time.
As your sister absentmindedly stretched the fabric of the sock to fit her foot you grabbed the threads of the sock with all your might, the movement felt like experiencing an earthquake right in the middle of a risky mountain climbing activity. However, once her foot was inside her foot provided a wall that allowed you to move quicker using the sock threads, and you managed to reach the left side of her foot just in time before experiencing a feeling of weightlessness, Nicole putting her foot back on the carpet.
You noticed her other foot started to raise, which meant she was going to put on the other sock and used this period of cooldown to reach the sock instep, what you considered to be the safest place for now. Once there you decided to rest for a bit, and while looking up noticed that your sister was still naked, but the only reason you could tell was the blurry colors in the sky showing a color very similar to your sister's skin and the white of the ceiling. Your vision just got blurry once your gaze tried to make sense of the impossible pillar that was your sister leg, and you were actually unable to distinguish anything past her knee
Nicole lowered her other foot, now covered in a sock, with a stomp that made you believe staying in her instep was the wisest decision, and once again you felt the weightless sensation as she started to move back. You laid down and grabbed the threads of the sock again, but right in the middle of a step another sensation fills your mind. You just realized during this whole adventure you no longer had the shrink ray!
