You're a low ranking soldier in the infamous Red Ribbon Army and while it wasn't exactly your ideal job, at least it paid well. It wasn't particularly difficult either, since most people weren't stupid enough to get in the Army's way. All you've been doing lately is searching for those orange orbs called 'dragon balls'. Whatever they were your superiors sure wanted them badly, as they have been using every resource they had to try and find them. So your work these days consisted of searching the wilderness and deserted islands for the balls. Suffice to say it was boring...
So today was like any other, with you checking out an island close to where a dragon ball was supposed to be. You and the other soldiers in your squad searched the island at a slow pace, not expecting any trouble. Though that was exactly what you were about to find!
"W-wait, isn't that... that kid..." You stammered upon finding a boy sitting around a campfire eating a huge fish. He was dressed in an orange martial artists outfit, though he certainly wasn't any ordinary boy with the tail he had! Immediately you recognized him as that kid who was causing hell for the Army, having already taken out several corps and their leaders single handedly. You had seen videos of the insane feats this kid had done... he could catch bullets, punch holes in solid concrete, he could even lift tanks like they were toys!
"What? This brat's got the dragon balls!" One of your comrades exclaimed upon seeing a bag with the balls inside. "Heh this is our lucky day, we're gonna be rich! Give those to us if you want to live!"
"Hey those are mine! I won't let you steal them!" He jumped to his feet and got in a fighting stance. The soldier went to grab the bag but was sent flying into the sky from a single punch as the kid just giggled. Your other comrades all opened fire yet he somehow dodged every last bullet! This kid wasn't human...
"Hehe you Rid Ribbon guys are all so weak! You need to train more." He said appearing in front of the other soldiers in a flash, barely tapping each of them and sending them flying into the ocean. You just watched with your mouth agape, frozen at the spot having not fired a single bullet. You quickly dropped your gun before he turned to you.
"Wa-wait, I'm not like them! I don't want to fight!" You exclaimed, smart enough not to pick a fight unlike the others.
"What? You're not with those bad guys?" He said scratching his head as put his fists down. "Then why are you dressed like them?"
Shit... you had to think of something fast. Something that he would believe. "W-well I-I uh..." You muttered trying to think of ANYTHING... "My uh, clothes are at the cleaners... and I had to borrow someone else's!" God, how stupid could you be! Even a kid like him wouldn't buy that...
"Oh, I guess that makes sense!" He smiled and laughed obliviously. Wow this kid was DENSE. "What are you doing on this island then? I'm Goku! I'm looking for the dragon balls!"
"Well... I was just sightseeing and got lost." You explained, a plan forming in your head. While Goku was insanely strong, he wasn't exactly the brightest. By using that to your advantage, you could steal the Dragon Balls when his guard was down! Then you'd be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams by your superiors. "So, would you mind if I travelled with you for a bit? I'm sure we could become great friends!" You just had to hope he would agree...
