Strong...But not strong enough.

Mark slowly hovered in the air, arms crossed against his torso, his exposed eyes glowing bright enough to shine a yellow light around his black helmet. Electricity built up around his cape and suit of armor, crackling loudly. Finally, as Mark spread his arms open, a wave of electricity shot out all across the mall, incapacitating several robbers as they fell to the ground with a small cry, followed by various groans of discomfort.

Mark dropped to the ground, hands at his side in a gesture of pride. He was smiling widely underneath his helmet. First day on the job and he was handling himself quite well. He was sure The Succubus would be proud of him if she could see what he'd pulled off, it was certainly an exertion of energy.

"You disappoint me, hero," a voice behind him joked.

Mark turned around to see a rather amused Cheersquad copy. Apparently, his blast wasn't as effective as he thought it was. At closer look of her gorgeous, smiling face, her angelic lips and seductive brown eyes, he made a shocking realization. Cheersquad was no random villain. He knew her (Or, should he say, knew them.) Her real name was Drea Lewis, an old friend and longtime crush of Mark's who he'd been in love with for the better part of 5 years.

"The Succubus spoke so highly of you.", another chimed in from a higher level of the mall.

"Surely you can do better!" added another one, positioned at the mall's Spencer's. "...Mark."

He blushed deeply under his helmet, totally unsure of how to react.
