The 6 inch fairy made his decision and looked to the grand city of Lilian. The melting pot of his entire world and where a fairy could have more than just a little fun.
Alf zipped through the air like a bird of prey, eager to pounce on the city and have greater fun that he would have had in Pixie Hollow. The flight to the City was much shorter for Alf than most flying creatures. As a Pixie-Fairy, not only was Alf virtually immortal, he was also very limber and quick. His small, yet durable frame, gave him the edge he would need to out fly anything that occupied the sky, whether they be dragon or bird, nothing could outrun or out pace the denizens of Pixie-Hollow.
As Alf passed over the border that divided the enchanted forest from he grassy plains he caught sight of Lilian City and all its glory. Without hesitation or even thought, Alf dove downward, past the city walls and gates, and into one of the larger city streets that was packed full of humans, demi-humans, vendors, and busy-bodies. The sights and the sounds of the city were as familiar to Alf as the sound of Crystals endless nagging. He couldn't explain why, but he just felt at home in the city.
Alf slowed his pace and began to hover in the street, just high enough to avoid the crowds, but just low enough so he could find some fun. His eyes moved from left to right until he found what he was looking for, a gullible fool and an idiot beside it. Just ahead of Alf were a pair of guards, men wearing polished armor and wielding imposing polearms that could skewer a boar with one swift strike. Standing just a few steps away from those guards were a few kids, possibly teenagers, who were talking about something that was clearly unimportant to Alf. Alf looked at the two towering steel men until he found what he was looking for, two money sacks hanging from their belts. By the size of those bags, Alf knew he could easily swipe them with his extra pixie dust, and could even use it to have even more fun. Alf rolled his neck, cracked his knuckles, and then slunk down towards the two guards, who were oblivious to Alf as he hovered behind him. Alf hovered behind the two guards and with a slight of hand, he unbound both sacks of coins, sprinkling a pinch of pixie dust on them and gently carried them up to the roof of a two story shack that they were standing under.
As fast as he possibly could, Alf pulled out the coins in both bags and began refilling them with junk that had accumulated in the gutters of the old house. When he was done, Alf tied of the bags and used his power over the dust to lower the two bags and then drop them into the palms of two boy's within the assembled group. Just as the bags fell into their hands, Alf snuck up behind the two men he had just robbed and tapped them on their shoulders. Alf zipped away as the two men turned and from the safety of his height, watched the two men begin chasing after the boys. One of the two guards caught one of the older boys, tackling him into the cobblestone road, while the other kept chasing after the others. The sight was enough to make Alf's sides hurt from his excessive laughter. When all was said and done, Alf had gotten his big laugh and was now twenty gold coins richer.
With that much gold Alf could start having some real fun, but where should he go and where should he spend his new found wealth?
