A quiet day, the nice sunshine and a stroll through the forest.
Yup.
This is what you'd call the start of a nice day. You aimlessly walk through the forest, your mind free from any thoughts at all and your nose filled with fresh air.
Then, you suddenly come into a small clearing. Just an ordinary clearing, you note... except for a large patch of colorful flowers right in the middle.
You smile to yourself as you walk towards the flowers and pick a pink one up...
Only to immediately let it go when the thing actually moves!
You step back as a startled, small creature runs out from the flowers.
You look at it as it looks back at you terrified. You notice that it's a small white hedgehog with grass instead of quills and pink flowers on the sides of its head and green eyes.
A Shaymin.
You just found the legendary Shaymin!
"H-Hey little guy," you gently say, remembering the nature of such pokemon, shy and easily scared.
"I'm sorry for scaring you..." you apologize as you kneel down, starting to pet the Shaymin on the head.
It tries to back away, but you keep it down with your hand as you keep rubbing its head.
The Shaymin closes its eyes and starts shaking, before giving a small cry, the flowers on its body releasing pollen all around.
Startled, you stagger to your feet.
"Wha-" you say, before inhaling some of the pollen. Immediately, you feel very dazed.
You stumble around, trying to snap out of it, but you end up falling down to the ground. The silhouette of the Shaymin rushing behind a tree is the last thing you see as you black out...

You fidget in your sleep as you start to regain consciousness.
What happened?
You recall walking through the forest, meeting the Shaymin... but then?
You hazily open your eyes. Initially, all you see is an indistinct mix of green.
But then, as things begin to take a shape, you notice you're still in the forest, surrounded by green, thin, leafless trees...
Your eyes shoot open as you abruptly sit upright and start looking around.
You look down, noticing that the ground is way closer than before...
Your mind puts two and two together: those aren't trees. Those are blades of grass!
You shrunk!
"Wha- what happened to me?!" you cry in alert, before remembering.
The Shaymin... that pollen must have been the cause... there's really no other explanation, you figure.
You stand up, noticing that you're barely taller than the grass, meaning that you must be an inch or so tall...
"This... is a nightmare..." you mumble as you pinch yourself. Nope, you're wide awake.
"Damn..."
You desperately look around, hoping that someone would pass by so you could get help... but that's when you spot something peering in your direction from behind a tree.
The Shaymin!
"Hey! You!" you cry. Immediately, the legendary hides behind the trunk.
You sigh, yet again remembering that you shouldn't startle it. If you manage to befriend it, you could convince it to help you... possibly, if it shrunk you, it can also give your size back!
"Hey," you start in a quieter tone.
"I'm... I'm sorry I startled you earlier. But I swear - I meant and mean you no harm! Just come out please!" you exclaim.
Slowly, the white muzzle of the Shaymin comes out from behind the tree as it looks at you with its green eyes as it tries to decide whether should it trust you or not.
