“Woah!” You cried out in surprise. You hit someone and bounced(bouncy?) back. Startled, you didn’t catch yourself in time and fell.
Before you hit the pavement, you were caught in the air by two glove hands. “Heh heh heh, my newly disclose baby worked.” An energetic voice said.
You look up and see a girl standing over you. She has some odd, metal gadget around her stomach that is extending metal limbs out to you. The metal limbs is holding the gloves which caught you in the first place.
“T-thank you.” You said as she lowers you to the ground. As you adjusted to your feet, you examine the helpful girl.
The girl seems to be 157cm or 5’2ft tall(Total guess. It’s not like the writer took it off the wiki or anything, 😆). On her head, she has pink locks with some unique looking protective goggles on them. Her yellow eyes has cross-hairs for pupils and her face is sporting a great big smile. She is wearing fingerless gloves and... is that the U.A. gym uniform from the Sports Festival? Hard to tell from all those harnesses surrounding her body. “No problem! Your clumsiness has allowed me to have some real world testing for my new baby.” The metal limbs retracted from you and gave you a thumbs up. “My new baby will shock the world!! This cute baby of mine has extendible and retractable arms that can act as a second set of limbs! Two hands aren’t enough in a fight? Well, this baby will help you in a pinch!” She started talking about her mechanical gadget .
“Um...” You were going to apologize for running into her but she is making it tough to say anything.
Suddenly, the pink hair girl is up in your face. “Ah! I see. You were going to ask how my baby could help in a fight if you can’t control it if you are carrying something with your own limbs! Well, that’s not a problem! My baby can be controlled using your brain! Neural link! Watch!” The girl stood still and her gadget started moving on its own. Ok, that’s a little cool. She is keeping her arms and fingers still as the metal limbs whirl around. And she seemed pretty proud.
Suddenly, the metal limbs whirl too much and smoke was starting to come out. “H-hey! Y-your baby is catching on fire!” You said as you can see flames starting to appear at the joints.
“It is?” The girl looked. “It is!” The girl quickly click a button and the limbs disconnected. They fell to the ground, losing power but still smoking.
“Well, at least they didn’t explode!” The girl laugh, oblivious to the people walking past. They gave the limbs wide area, with frighten looks on their faces. Probably worried that it would explode anyway.
Why wasn’t she testing this in a lab, instead here? At least it didn’t caught on fire when it grabbed me. You thought. Is this girl going to be ok?
The girl stopped laugh but stilling giving a big smile. “My name is Mei Hatsume. You can call me Mei!” She said, introducing herself.
