“Ouch!” You said, as you grip your arm. You look at your arm and you see a small cut. Did someone cut you?
You look around. There is a lot of people around. If you did get cut, anyone one of them could have cut you.
“Ouch!” You cried out again. Someone cut your leg. It was a deeper gash than before.
Now feeling a little scared, you continue to move, as you look at all the faces in the crowd. No one seems suspicious. But you can’t shake this feeling of uneasiness.
“Mphhffff!!” You bite your tongue in surprise. There is a sharp pain from the back of your neck. You reach up a hand to check, only to find blood.You’re bleeding from your neck.
Scared, you run through the crowd. As fast as you try to run, you can’t shake the feeling that someone is chasing after you.
You turn a corner and head into an alleyway. You turn around and prepare to fight. Even if you have no experience. You can use your quirk, but you have little to no control of it.
You stood there for a while but no one came down the alleyway. You sigh. Maybe you lost them. You check your leg. Someone definitely cut you. The cut is deep enough for your leg to keep bleeding.
Ok, now you can go to the Culture Festival. Maybe, for safety, you should exit the other way.
You turn around only to meet a police officer walking towards you. “Officer?” What is a policewoman doing here.
The policewoman stopped. “Hey, what are you doing here?”
Feeling relieved, you address the officer. “Officer! Please help me! I’m being assault. I didn’t see their face but I know they were after me.” You indicated where the slash are on your body.
The policewoman was not concern or worried. In fact, she seems mad. “Interesting marks. Almost the same marks a victim who die just moments ago described before he died.”
“... what?” You don’t quite understand what she is saying.
“And now I had receive word that you were running away from the scene of the crime.”
“No, officer, listen to me...”
“Maybe you are innocent but right now, you are definitely suspicious. Would you like to come with me to the station?” The Policewoman said, showing a very serious face.
This is happening so sudden. You aren’t sure what to do. But it’s clear by this woman’s aura that she is not to be mess with. “I, uh, ok. But I didn’t do it.”
The Policewoman stopped you. “I understand. But for now, would you please put your hands behind your back?” She said, taking out a pair of handcuffs.
Seeing no other option, you did as she ask and turn around. She grabs your wirsts and handcuffs you.
“Officer, you are making a big mistake. I was just heading to the Culture Festival. When we get to the station, you’ll see I didn’t do anything.” You try for one last plea.
No response.
“O-officer?” You look behind your back. To your horror, the Policewoman’s face was melting off!
The goo, it’s like clay, but more liquid, dropping off the woman’s body. The Policewoman’s face is slowly replace by a young woman’s face.
It’s a petite girl with blonde hair, which is in a messy styled buns on both sides of her head. She also sports straight bangs, cut in an uneven hime cut-like style, and two stray strands of hair on each side of her face. Her eyes are yellow and somewhat squinted, with vertically slit pupils and dark circles under them, and she has pronounced cat-like canine teeth.

“Nnnooo. W-who are you?” You look down. “And why are you naked?!” You said, scared. You tried opening up your arms but they are lock by the handcuffs.
The petite girl smiles. “Oh, me? I’m Himiko Toga. I saw you in the crowd and I thought we would become the best of friends. Friends should know each other’s names, don’t you think?” Toga said, flashing a knife in her hand.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
