This choice: Tiny Lucy vs Flare Corona • Go Back... Ivan Drayer didn't just want to win, but also to humiliate Fairy Tail and obtain the Lumen Histoire. Although Flare should have easily taken out the Celestial Spirit Mage, he decided to protect himself a bit against any eventuality and make Heartfilia his hostage. A little curse should be enough. As the gong boomed, the curse activated, and Ivan admired his handiwork as Heartfilia began to shrink to only two and a half centimeters or one inch.
Flare just giggled when she saw what her master did to the blonde. The master explained the whole plan to her before the match, and she was happy to support it. As a woman living among giants, the desire to be a giant for once was great and she quickly decided to use it to her advantage. Using her magic against someone so small would be inappropriate, and her master wanted to humiliate her, so Flare quickly came up with a better idea.
Lucy was terrified. She had already shrunk once through Dan Straight just over 3 months ago, although it felt like only a dozen or so days had passed. Time in the spirit realm has really taken its toll.
As Flare began to take off her shoes, Lucy swallowed on instinct. There was nothing she could do at that size. When the slight tremors from Flare's footsteps shook the ground and her foot hovered over Lucy, she had only seconds to react.
Lucy pulled out Virgo's key at the last moment and quickly shouted - "Open, Gate of the Maiden, Virgo."
"P.."
“Dig a hole under us, QUICK!”
Virgo quickly complied and she and Lucy found themselves a few meters, or rather centimeters, underground. Flare's foot landed safely above them, but the smell was still there.
"Virg, make a side tunnel and fill it in after we get through it." - Lucy said and Virgo quickly complied.
The audience was shocked by what appeared to be an act of murder. Natsu and Gray were held by Erze so they wouldn't jump out.
“Mr. Yajima. Is it the end?" - Chapati said, almost in a whisper.
"I don't know." - Yajima said.
Flare then lifted her foot and a small dimple could be seen beneath it. It was magnified many times on the screens. Everyone let out a collective sigh of relief. Flare quickly started digging in the hole, looking for her opponent.
“It's probably too one-sided.” - said Chapati - "I mean, what can she do in this size?"
“If I were her, I would wait this 30 minutes.” - said Jenny - "The redhead almost murdered her, at least she'll make sure she gets some points."
