He had never been late, which was amazing when you considered how many mornings he had been either tied to the flagpole or hanging off of it, and he wasn't willing to start now. Gritting his teeth, he stepped out of the locker room.

The crowd in the hall laughed and chuckled as he stormed past them, his face burning red with humiliation. He headed straight for the office.
