Adam swam through the lake, enjoying the warm water. His brother Kevin and sister Becky were swimming nearby, and the rest of his family was on the crowded beach. They were near the back unfortunately; today was a popular day to go swimming.
Adam dove under the water eagerly, enjoying himself thoroughly.
"How's it going nerd?" Kevin called out.
Adam rolled his eyes. "Fine, thanks." He was in too good a mood to let Kevin spoil it.
He dove under the water again, then back up. Kevin grinned at him.
"How about a competition?" Kevin pointed at the rope line marking the swimming area. "Let's race!"
"You're on!" Both boys immediately shot forward, swimming desperately. Adam won by a hair.
"Good job!" Kevin wiped the wet hair out of his face. Adam nodded back at him. Kevin suddenly squinted over the line. "Check that out over there? Is that a boat or something else?"
Adam looked where his brother was pointing. "Where?"
"Right there!"
Adam looked over as his brother moved back. Suddenly Kevin dove quickly, grabbing Adam's legs and flipping him over. Adam was headfirst in the water, Kevin holding his legs. He kicked, trying to get free.
Suddenly his brothers hands moved, grabbing Adam's trunks and wrenching them off of him!
In a panic Adam got free and resurfaced. His brother was swimming quickly away. After a moment he turned, waving his hand..holding Adam's trunks!
Adam stared in horror as his brother got to the shallow shore and waved mockingly.
