Hat Kid was in the lost woods and was making deals with Snatcher the evil being who loved making deals and playing tricks on fools who dared think they could out smart him.
Hat Kid was a brave little girl she thought no one could outsmart her or throw her through a loop.
As she talked to Snatcher she saw the deal on the contract he showed her said that Snatcher owned her soul. and he could do what ever he wanted with it unless she did his deal.
But Hat Kid had no time for this useless phantom, she was a busy girl who had time pieces to collect so she gave Snatcher a smug smile and said "Hmph I don't need this contract. you have no power over me."
Snatcher laughed and said "Foolish girl. you have no idea what I could do I have control over your soul and you will obey my demands or suffer for it...."
Hat Kid took one look at his contract and with a smug smile ripped it into a million tiny shreds.
Snatcher's eyes turned red as he said "You really shouldn't have done that....."
Hat Kid said "Yeah what ever see you around you dumb....wait what?
She stood in place she felt weird like something changed. her body felt different she felt like she was getting smaller and she felt like her skin was changing in fact she felt her body transforming "Wait what is this? she said in a panic.
Snatcher said "Fine you don't want to be my play thing for a while? well why don't you spend the rest of your life as a plaything. but I can't really say "life" since technically you won't be alive at all...."
Hat Kid's heart sunk when she realised what was happening....she was turning into......
