Next day approached, and you got up from the bed and gotten ready for the parade. As you put the pants on, your phone rang and you picked it up.
“Hello?” You spoke.
“Ah, comrade Vladimir. It is me, your boss.” Voice spoke.
“Good morning comrade Dima.” You responded.
“Good to hear. The car shall come to your apartment in 15 minutes so get dressed and eat. I’ll see you at the square.” Dima said.
“Yes sir.” You replied.
You bid farewell and hanged up the phone. You got some left over meat from other day and reheated it. Once finished eating it you gotten your cloth fully ready with medal for labor valor on her chest. She got out and waited then saw a car stopping and a man got out.
“Are you Vladimir Alexandria?” Man asked.
“Yes I am.” You replied.
“Alright get in. Mr.dima ordered me to get you to the square.” He replied.
You nodded and went in and drove off. You looked at the good buildings and apartments, knowing that these were payed by the state so it’s free for workers to live in. 45 minutes passed and you reached the square. It was not as big as the red square in Moscow, but it was decently big. You two got out and saw many people and the workers cheering at you and clapping their hands as you walked with smile, you saw me.dima and saluted to him.
“Good to see you, comrade dima.” You said.
“Same here, now you will be riding on the open car as the parade hits start.” He replied.
You nodded and walked with him toward the car. It was good one and as you sat down, mr.dima told you he have business and left the scene. 10 minutes later, the voice from speaker came on,
“Today we will celebrate comrade alexandrias 10th anniversary for great achievement in Labour. Let the parade start now.” Voice spoke.
The music started and there were marching workers and some military officials marching. When it was your turn the car started to run slow and you got up and waved as the townspeople were applauding and whistling at you from the cheer. You were happy to see this and after 2 hours of parade you were at the podium with mr.dima at the opposite side.
“Vladimir Alexandria. For your 10th anniversary to your dedication, we shall reward you with the medal for distinguished Labour.” Mr.Dima said.
He than put the medal on her chest and saluted to you. You saluted back to him and as the parade was about to end, you noticed someone come near.
