This choice: You stood there too long! Time to Shrink! • Go Back... Neither of you have moved, and you're still thinking of a way to get out of this situation with your size still intact. However, while you were lost in thought, Jacqueline spoke up.
"You know what..." She says, trailing off ominously, which can only mean negative things for you. Something else that means something negative is the fact that she just pressed the button, firing the remote at you!
"Wai-" Is all you can manage to get out before you get enveloped in a blinding white light. Dammit! You should have done something! Anything! Now all you can do is try not to be sick as your stomach drops and your blood runs cold, afraid of what will await you when your vision returns.
Eventually, your vision does return, and it's like you've awoken on a whole new planet. Towering trees that you can only assume used to be your carpet surround you in every direction. You cough at the layer of dust around you as well, too small and far away for your mother's vacuum to reach. Your heart races faster and faster as it sinks in just how small you are. You are impossibly tiny, borderline microscopic!
And then, a sound rings out that (if it was possible) would have made your blood run even colder than before.
"Hmmph." A thunderous voice rings out. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who that voice belongs to. You turn towards the direction you remember facing when your vision returns, and your jaw drops. Your older sister, who was already pretty tall to begin with, is absolutely HUGE! And your so far away from her! You don't want to imagine what it would be like to be right next to her.
Suddenly, she speaks again.
"Well, that'll stop you from doing anything weird." she starts. "I could just leave you here to get eaten by a bug or stepped on by mom or something, but maybe I should just take care of you now." She ponders aloud. Then, for emphasis, she raises her right foot what seems to be miles into the sky, before slamming it down at full speed. A huge earthquake booms across the area as everything shakes, causing you to grab onto the carpet for balance. If she's that powerful at this distance, you don't want to be anyway near her at all!
"Although looking for you would be a pain, I don't even know where you are." She says. "Hmmmm...." She mumbles, weighing her options.
You're very worried about what the giant Jacqueline will decide to do. Like it or not, you need her to get back to normal size, so being close to her is ideal, but who knows what she'll do to you if she decides to look for you?
In the end....  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
