“Hi again MC! Glad to see you didn’t run away on us. Hahaha!” Monika greeted you with a sweet smile, as you walked into the club room.
“Nah, don't worry, This might be a little strange for me, but I at least keep my word!” you reply, putting down your backpack, as Monika walks off to continue her conversation with Sayori. you were the last one in, so everyone else was already hanging out, and you didn’t really know what to do until Yuri came over to talk.
“Thanks again for keeping your promise MC, I hope this isn't too overwhelming of a commitment for you, making you dive headfirst into literature when you're not accustomed to it…” she mumbled the ending, looking down as she twisted her shoe into the ground nervously.
“Oh, come on! Like he deserves any slack” Natsuki shouts, butting into the conversation, “ Sayori told me you didn’t even want to join any clubs this year, and last year too, I don't know if you plan to just come here and hang out or what, but if you don't take us seriously, then you won’t hear the end of it!” she finished shouting, stamping her foot down on the floor over and over again.
“Natsuki,” Monika interjects. “You certainly have a big mouth for someone who keeps their manga collection in the club room”
Natuski stutters, finding herself stuck between saying “Monika!” and “Manga!”
“Manga is literature!” she finally shouts, yet swiftly defeated, she plops back into her seat.
“Don't worry guys,” Sayori pipes up “MC always gives it his best as long as he’s having fun, he helps me with busywork without me even asking, like cooking cleaning my room…”
“How dependable…” Yuri quietly whispers
“Sayori,” you start to say “That’s because your room is so messy its distracting, and you almost set your house on fire once!”
“Tee-hee” Sayori giggles, jumping up and down on her toes, but then her facial expression changed suddenly as if she just remembered something “Oh oh! Yuri brought something for you today you know~”
“W-wait! Sayori!”
"Eh? Me?"
"Um... Not really..."
"What is it?"
"Sayori made it sound like a big deal when it's really not… Uuuuh, what do I do..."
As you were giggling at yuri’s timidness, you suddenly felt a sharp pain in your stomach, you could barely focus on what was being said anymore, looking around, trying to see each of the girls, you see Yuri trying to bury her face in her hair, Sayori calmly watching her, Natsuki reading manga, and Monika, who was doing something you couldn’t quite figure out, standing up straight, eyes closed, focusing on something really hard, before the world around you started spinning, and then tilting, until you hit your head on the floor, and everything went black…
Your vision comes back to you slowly, as you open your eyes and put your hand on the side of your head, you look at the floor, wooden panels that stretch out for miles, as you gradually look up, you see metal rods that are high as skyscrapers, you can't figure out what mystical land you are in, until a giant thud comes from behind you, seeing a giant shoe before you, slightly further up is the leg of the owner of the shoe, even further up you look until you’re almost looking up 90 degrees, seeing the face of __ as you begin to panic, realizing what had happened to you...
