Tentacles grabbed them

Suddenly, many black tentacles shoot out of the tree. Kim had no problem dodging them, do to her acrobatics skills. Her mother on the other had was just a surgeon. Soon tentacles grabbed Ann by her wrists and ankles. She started screaming for help. Kim tried to help her mother, but soon found herself overwhelmed by the number of tentacles.

Both mother and daughter where captured by the tentacles. Ann had stopped screaming and prayed they where going to be lunch. Kim was still struggling to break free.

What happened next ?
