Chapter #4

Something goes wrong

    by: Unknown
Cheryl sat down, nervously shaking at the ramifications of swapping bodies with a younger guy for a short while. 'Will he really keep my life in check? I hope he doesn't screw anything up.' She worried, thinking of her home and family. "Alright, it's all set up, let's get this going." Johnny declared, starting up the machine. Having run through much of the construction and programming, Johnny was nearly certain the two of them would swap bodies. Although, to be honest, seeing and hearing it all function was as much a boost to his pride than if it actually works. "This won't hurt, right?" Cheryl was concerned once more, and upon not hearing Johnny respond, she grew increasingly doubtful. Expecting it not to work from the get-go, she began fretting over if this mix of machinery built by Johnny would explode or catch fire instead. There's no way she'd want to risk her life to make sure some guy's aspirations are affirmed.

"I- I've changed my mind!" Cheryl yelled, getting up from her seat. "Wait, stop!" Johnny called, grabbing onto her arm and pulling her back. "No! Let me go!" She declared, as the shack resounded louder with it's machinery. "You can't just leave in the middle of the swapping process!" Johnny told her, saying it moreso to see this through. Cheryl kept on pulling back, so Johnny also got up from his seat; she was backing out, so Johnny started to back out too, just to place his arm around her waist in an attempt to push her back in. Slowly, Cheryl managed to overpower him, backing both of them out of the shack just enough so that just their heads were outside. And then the process reached it's climax, then finished.

Finding herself completely uninjured, Cheryl got back in, looking down at herself. "Oh my god, it worked!" She shouted, seeing Johnny's clothes and younger skin, whilst speaking with his voice, too. "Yeah, it actually did...." Johnny replied, looking down at the curvy mature body below him. Cheryl turned to cheerily thank Johnny,"This is great, now I can get that vaca-" But cut her kind words as she see the mess now in play. "What?" Johnny asked, oblivious for he was looking away from Cheryl. "Look at me!" She yelled, frustrated. "Oh my god." He whispered, seeing that the swap wasn't completely done. Above the neck of his original body, and with his male lips on her face, was the head of the angry Cheryl. Feeling up his own face with manicured hands, Johnny felt Cheryl's thicker lips on him, but the contours of his face and short hair were definitely his own. "Oh dear. When you tried to escape, our entire bodies must not have been inside the shack. So as a result, what was left out, in this case most of our heads, wasn't included in the swap." He explained.

"This can't be happening! We can't even assume each others' lives!" Cheryl started crying, so Johnny shushed her down with his mature female voice. "It's alright, we can just get the swap process going again." He assured, followed by multiple loud clangs coming from in the shack. Multiple pieces of the machinery had become busted and fallen to the floor, indicating it was inoperable for now. "Gee, thanks a lot; this is definitely going to help me relax now!" Cheryl sarcastically said, poking Johnny in the chest. "How are you going to fix this?" She asked.
