Woke her to test these new triggers

Jaune quickly checked his phone, mostly to see the time. It would be bad news if the rest of team JNPR got back from the city at a time like this. After all, it was the moment of truth! It was time to see if intelligent Blake Belladonna was finally utterly under his control!

Jaune took one more moment to look at Blake's uncharacteristically dopey smile as she hummed the subliminal tune softly to herself. The black-haired faunus really did seem hypnotized...

"Alright, Blake, wake up, remembering nothing of what has happened so far!" Jaune exclaimed, clapping his hands.

A second later, Blake's half lidded, glazed eyes returned to their normal position as the fog disappeared from behind them. Said eyes then widened, as Blake herself looked around the room in confusion, clearly wondering how she had gotten there. It took her a moment to recognize where she was, as she hadn't been to team JNPR's dorm many times before.

"Jaune? Why am I alone with you in your suite? Why can't I remember how I got here?" Instead of looking frightened, Blake actually looked somewhat angry and even a bit flustered. She was certainly angrier than she was embarrassed, though. She was glaring daggers at Jaune now, her accusatory stare showing how suspicious she was of him at this very moment.

Jaune couldn't help but feel nervous, even knowing about the triggers he had put in place. Now would be a better time than ever to see if they worked, though, considering what she would probably do to him if he wasn't able to hypnotically calm her down! Jaune's hand wrapped around his pen, ready to click it, but then he had second thoughts.

Should he click the pen a few times, and then click it repeatedly to test the pen trigger on Blake, or should he instead wait for the humming trigger to begin? After all, Blake was clearly feeling uncomfortable around him right now, which meant that she would soon begin humming the subliminal tune to herself, bringing herself back down to a relaxed trance-state...
